IBM ThinkPad T21
The IBM ThinkPad series has always been measured as one of the very best mobile computing lines out there in the market. The ThinkPad series has always set the standards bar for laptop technologies. Though the ThinkPad was usually heavily priced than others, it’s easy to see that you get most of what you pay for. With the recent opening of the Intel Centering Mobile Technology, it was time to look at what new ThinkPad models would be unveiled to support this initiative. Many were quick to jump on obtaining the new IBM ThinkPad T40 when it released. ThinkPad T40 has been a hot cross bun over the last few months and many finally are thankful for this awesome laptop. The T40 is the replacement for aging T21 which had served in the market as a hot trade for nearly two years. The new T40 surpasses the T21’s performance and quality, Of course it would! But its still is it still worth it to pay a premium for these ThinkPad T21 notebooks. IBM ThinkPad T21 Pros: Everything works out of the box in this P4 2.2GHz machine with 500MB of RAM we can also receive an extra 256MB of RAM free from IBM. IBM ThinkPad T21 has just the right amount of features that come standard with this workhorse. Wi-Fi works better and are preferred than the ACER laptops we have. The Chip used for security features is the best offered on a standard laptop. Great keyboard, nice touchpad and screen are other advantages. This is highly recommend this machine and can be purchased off the IBM web site. IBM ThinkPad T21 Cons: Price is a little high for this machine but not when you compare the IBM quality and features to other laptops of similar quality and its reputation in this. But this has only 16MB of the video ram. Although this has not affected for business use and that amount of memory is acceptable in general. The Laptop did not recognize its entire RAM, only accepted 256 out 512MB, but the standard support from IBM had it corrected in four days.
